Mayor, City of Anaheim
Elected as Mayor of Anaheim in 2002, Curt Pringle offers an exceptional depth and breadth of public policy experience. He served with distinction in the California State Assembly from 1988-90 and from 1992-98, including a term as chairman of the influential Assembly Appropriations Committee and a term as Speaker of the California State Assembly. The independent California Journal rated Pringle as the "Best Problem Solver" and as the "Most Influential Leader" of the California Assembly.

Appointed as the 5th Chancellor of UCI in 2005, Dr. Michael Drake has an extensive background in higher education. He served as University of California vice president for health affairs, overseeing education and research activities at UC's 15 health sciences schools, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, public health, optometry and veterinary medicine. A professor and former associate dean for admissions and extramural academic programs at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Drake is an award-winning teacher, public servant, research expert, and mentor.

From her experience as a customer service telephone representative, truck driver, and accountant to the Vice President of United Parcel Service's Southern California District, Rosemary Turner represents successful women striving to advance while overcoming the stereotype of being female. Responsible for overseeing UPS operation from Long Beach to Mexico, Ms. Turner manages more than 6,000 employees and oversees an annual operation budget of nearly $500 million. Active numerous community service projects, she is a founding member of the Women's Philanthropy Fund of Orange County.

A nationally recognized trial lawyer and founding partner of Aitken, Aitken & Cohn (Santa Ana, CA), Wylie Aitken was the youngest president in the history of the State Trial Bar and served on the State of California Task Force on Court Facilities appointed by two California Speakers of the Assembly as well as the Federal Judicial Advisory committee under appointment of US Senators Feinstein and Boxer which recommends the appointment of Federal District Judges. He was named among the top 100 of California's Most Influential Lawyers in 1998-2003 and as a 2004 Southern California Super Lawyer.

In 2003 Arte Moreno was introduced as the third owner in Angels' franchise history, and the impact of his big market approach has led to 2 American League West Division championships and 3 consecutive seasons drawing more than 3 million fans to the home field in Anaheim. The 2005 season culminated with the Los Angeles Sports Council naming Moreno as "Los Angeles Sports Executive of the Year". Time Magazine named him one of the 25 most influential Hispanics in America (Aug. 2005). A generous supporter of many community causes, Moreno established the Angels Baseball Foundation in 2003, with a focus on education, health care, arts and sciences, and community-related youth programs throughout the region.
SIR ELDON GRIFFITHS November 9, 2006 Hyatt Regency Irvine

Engaged in world affairs for four decades as a Member of Parliament and foreign correspondent, author of opinion columns on world issues, director and consultant to multinational companies, Sir Eldon Griffiths is a truly global citizen. Born in England and educated at Cambridge and Yale, Griffiths was elected in 1964 as a Member of Parliament for the Conservative seat of Bury St Edmunds. Sir Eldon began his career in California as a Time and Life correspondent covering the departure of the U.S. marines from Korea, and later was a foreign editor for Newsweek. He was Chairman of the World Affairs Council National Board following nine years as President of the Orange County World Affairs Council and currently serves as a director and consultant to U.S. and UK-based companies.
