The founder of National Philanthropy Day, Doug Freeman is also the Chairman of IFF Advisors, a national consulting firm providing strategic planning and organizational management advice for business, nonprofit, foundation, and family clients. He is a founding partner of Freeman, Freeman and Smiley, a law firm with offices in L.A. and Irvine, California. Mr. Freeman is an author and a frequent lecturer to professional associations. Highlighted in Bloomberg Financial Journal (Fall 1999) as one of the best estate planning attorneys in the US, Doug has been named a 2007 “Southern California Super Lawyer,” bestowed on only the top 5% of lawyers in this region by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazines. Among many other philanthropic leadership roles, Mr. Freeman is the immediate past Chairman and the current Vice Chairman of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of California, Irvine Foundation, and is a director of the University of Southern California Center on Philanthropy and Public Policy.

As a founding partner in his law firm, Tom has a long and distinguished career serving banking, thrift and non-bank financial institutions. He is active in banking industry groups including the California Bankers Association, serving on the Federal Government Relations Committee. Tom has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars on law and banking and is frequently quoted in industry publications. He was selected by his peers as a 2007 'Southern California Super Lawyer' in the annual edition of the Southern California Super Lawyers magazine, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for more than ten years.

Mr. Folino is Executive Chairman of Emulex Corporation after joining the company as President and CEO in 1993. Emulex is the industry’s preeminent source for a broad range of advanced storage networking infrastructure solutions. Paul was recognized as the 1999 Orange County Co-Entrepreneur of the Year for technology as well as Ernst & Young's 2000 Orange County Director of the Year for high growth technology. Prior to his position at Emulex, Mr. Folino served in several executive positions with Xerox Corporation. He has held leadership positions on numerous non-profit boards including the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Chapman University, and the Dean’s Advisory Board in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton, and serves as the current Chairman of The New Majority, a political action committee.

A Member of Parliament, Jill Knight was elected for Birmingham Edgbaston in 1966, and held the seat in successive elections until 1997. Knight was a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Race Relations & Immigration, on the Select Committee for the Council of Europe, Home Affairs, Lady Chairman of the Lords and Commons All-Party Child and Family Protection Group from 1978, on the Conservative Back-bench Health & Social Services Committee 1982, President of the West Midlands Conservative Political Centre 1980-1983, and was Lady Chairman of the Western European Union Relations with Parliaments Committee, 1984-1988.

A "Golden Mike Award" winner and Emmy nominee, Ed Arnold has been a newscaster/sportscaster in the LA/ Orange County area for over 40 years, and is co-host and managing editor of KOCE -TV’s nightly news magazine show, "Real Orange". He is also the announcer for the Rev. Robert H. Schuller’s internationally -syndicated TV show, "Hour of Power". Ed and his wife Dixie have teamed up to help many community and non-profit groups including Boys and Girls Clubs, and the California Special Olympics. Ed has received the March of Dimes Lifetime Achievement Award and the Cystic Fibrosis Breath of Life Award, as well as the 2007 Radio and Television News Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, given to those whose commitment to quality journalism, adherence to the highest principles of integrity, service to the community and/or promotion of the First Amendment rights of the free press have been extraordinary over the course of an entire career.

Managing Partner of the Orange County Practice of Ernst & Young, as well as an Assurance and Advisory Business Services Partner, Sally Anderson has more than 25 years of accounting, auditing, and consulting experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, and service companies. Sally has been involved in many community organizations and currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and chairs its Corporate Fundraising Committee. She is a member of the College of Business and Economics’ Dean’s Advisory Board at California State University Fullerton, the Orange County Business Counsel’s Infrastructure Committee, Orange County’s United Way Cabinet Committee and a founding member of Women’s Philanthropy Fund, and the Trusteeship for the Betterment of Women.

California’s 2007 "Small Business Person of the Year", Rob Ukropina is the founder of Overnite Express, a delivery service company providing overnight delivery to California, Arizona, and Nevada, as well as 2-day service to Mexico. A member of the USC Alumni Association’s Board of Governors, a founding member and member of the Pacific Club Board of Directors, and the Round Table of Orange County, Rob also sits on a number of entrepreneurial business boards. Awarded the "Excellence in Entrepreneurship" by the Orange County Business Journal and Ernst and Young, Rob is also a frequent guest lecturer at USC, UCLA, Chapman, Pepperdine, UCI, and other groups on topics including the competitive edge, great customer service, and entrepreneurship.
