Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Los Angeles Dodger Senior Vice President, Tommy Lasorda, has been out of the dugout since 1996, but continues to preach the baseball gospel to many private and public groups, including schools, military personnel and civic organizations. His message is one of hope, courage and self-confidence, mixed with a dose of comedy and Italian-American culture. Lasorda, who managed the Dodgers for 20 years, winning two World Series, four National League pennants and eight division titles, has since been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. In 2000, he managed the United States Olympic Baseball team to its first ever Gold Medal. Still bleeding Dodger Blue, he has been with the Dodger organization for 53 years, and loved every moment of his journey, which started in his home town, Norristown, PA and took him to Cooperstown.
