The Grand Opening of the new Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall on September 15 and 16, the acclaimed first European tour of the Pacific Symphony, and the nationally-recognized leadership of Henry Segerstrom as former Chairman of the National Business Committee for the Arts are important indicators of the cultural richness of Orange County and its growing presence on the national and international arts scenes. The Orange County Forum is honored to welcome Henry Segerstrom, managing partner of C.J. Segerstrom and Sons and founding chairman of the Orange County Performing Arts Center; Dr. James Doti, President of Chapman University; Terrence Dwyer, President of the Orange County Performing Arts Center; and John Forsyte, President of the Pacific Symphony, to reflect on the extraordinary impact of the County's stepping into the world's cultural spotlight. Dr. Doti will add to the richness of this special Orange County Forum program by providing insights into the significance of these impressive artistic endeavors on the local economy, business climate and educational institutions and why it matters to all of us.
