2023-2024 Orange County Community Indicators Report & Rollout

Since 2010, the annual Orange County Community Indicators Report has served as a critical tool for assessing the performance of the nation’s 6th largest county. The report tracks a comprehensive range of vital issues, including education, health, housing, income, infrastructure, and the economy.

About the Community Indicators Report

The Orange County Community Indicators Report was born out of an earnest desire to help shape informed responses and highlight key issues on which Orange County can best focus its resources and efforts. The report is authored by a distinguished partnership that includes some of Orange County’s leading organizations: Orange County Business Council, CalOptima Health, Orange County Community Foundation, First 5 Orange County, and Orange County United Way. In addition to providing key performance metrics in critical areas across Orange County, the report also compares OC against “peer” counties in California and across the nation.
