A Conversation with Eleanor Clift:

40 Years of Presidential Campaigns

In conversation with the Director of Concordia University’s Center for Public Policy

Dr. Jo Ellen Chatham

Few political reporters, pundits or commentators can boast of covering every presidential election campaign since 1976 and still going strong!  Beginning as a secretary at Newsweek and rising in the ranks to become the magazine’s White House correspondent, she has broadened her influence in radio, television, movies, and on-line blogger for The Daily Beast.  She is an author whose books range from politics to feminism to how people deal with death.  She pulls no punches about her political perspective and continued her long-term career as a panelist on the popular nationally-syndicated public affairs program The McLaughlin Group.  Her experiences for more than forty years in politics and journalism will provide an unusual and poignant look at today’s political landscape from a Washington insider.
