Dear OC Forum Community,
On Thursday, May 9, we held a special breakfast program to congratulate Fram Virjee on his new and exciting journey as president of California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).
During the program, Virjee shared with us that his experience with the CSU system has been—and continues to be—one of the most rewarding professional experiences of his career.
Prior to obtaining his presidency at CSUF, Virjee had served as the executive vice chancellor, general counsel and secretary to the CSU Board of Trustees from January 2013 to December 2017, and had been serving as the interim CSUF president since January 2018.
However, Virjee made it clear that it’s not the titles and positions that have made the biggest impact on his life—it’s the students. Virjee shared that approximately 80% of CSUF grads stay in Orange County. Because of this, Virjee promises to do whatever it takes to further the success of Orange County’s next generation of leaders.
